Email Strategy Specialist

As an Email Strategy Specialist at iMarket Solutions, you will develop an email marketing strategy for your clients with lead generation and brand awareness at top of mind. You will have the ability to think big picture, focusing on quarterly strategy with client goals in mind, and be detail-oriented, refining the particulars when building out individual campaigns. You will also work directly with your clients and closely with our account managers for alignment in all marketing efforts. Our ideal candidate pays close attention to detail, is an effective communicator with strong problem-solving skills, is creative, and is excellent with time management.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for industry knowledge as it relates to Email Marketing.
  • Review emails for quality assurance and proper link UTMs.
  • Ability to articulate and implement tracking and attribution strategies to accurately report on email performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with email content specialists to ensure URLs and tracking codes are properly embedded to support accurate reporting and campaign analysis.
  • Develop and test new product strategy ideas and best practices on an ongoing basis and provide training or documentation for internal teams as needed.
  • Stay current on email marketing trends, changes, new features, and best practices as it relates to contractors in our verticals.
  • Serve as a company expert and resource on all of iMarket’s email marketing related product offerings, strategies and best practices.
  • Set up and launch emails via ActiveCampaign and ServiceTitan.
  • Attend client meetings and consistently communicate via email to obtain concept and final email approvals.
  • Stay up to date on client goals and needs, and provide strategy recommendations based on their annual marketing goals and calendar.
  • Manage customer data and work with clients to segment their lists and minimize list attrition.
  • Report on KPIs, A/B tests, and optimize the strategy to drive leads and build brand awareness.
  • Complete all client related tasks on time and in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Develop projects and processes to innovate the product we offer to our clients.
  • Develop team and company level documentation and training as necessary.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
  • 3+ years in a client-facing agency role as an email marketing designer or marketing specialist.
  • Experience in planning, building, executing, and reporting email campaigns and automations.
  • Experience working with email marketing software/marketing automation platforms (Klaviyo, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, etc).
  • Strong understanding of email service providers, CAN-SPAM, and privacy rules.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Photoshop/Illustrator.
  • Excellent understanding of writing for email, lead-generation strategy, and design principles for email marketing.
  • Experience and/or strong knowledge of lead-generating techniques.
  • Strong experience building direct-to-consumer email campaigns.
  • Analytical and able to derive meaning through A/B testing, email data, and trends.
  • Excellent writer and communicator (written and verbal).
  • Experience working under tight deadlines in challenging situations.
  • Management of multiple email campaigns for multiple clients.
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage time in a remote environment.
  • Onboard new clients and support existing clients with necessary task completion and requests
